You also seem for forget, that I'm all for the legalization of MJ nationally and the use of medical MJ here in Montana is legal. I'm all for patients using it in our hospital setting...and they do. The nurse that killed a patient using 32 vials of Dilantin...now that was a story. My question to the forum was, what drove her to that point? Many here have read my post and hopefully all 35 pages of it. They eventually stopped the thread as it became such a heated debate and I was kicked off the forum for 6 months. It is hard to know how a nurse feels until you have walked one shift in his/her shoes. (Wish you could have worked with me Tuesday Lev, you would have loved it!). Now, the doctor...that was a doozy. And anyone can read that thread as well but Lev, if you are gonna post stuff, give them the whole story. This is how it went down. I was charging a floor one night and this ER doc admitted a patient to my floor which was appropriate. The patient had an infection. When the pompous surgeon found out, his patient was not going to the surgical floor (you know Lev, the clean floor), he was pissed, called me and lied to me and told me the supervisor had authorized a transfer to the surgical wing. So, I sent the patient up. When the supervisor checked with me later on, I told her the patient had been moved and she flipped out. So, her and I wrote him up, a formal complaint that went to the hospital liaison. A meeting was called. Now Lev, remember, I am not a surgical nurse and I have never taken care of one of this surgeons patients. (keep this part in the top part of your memory for future reference) That is when this surgeon made this comment about me. The hospital sent him a letter telling him he had two weeks to give me a written apology. He never did...which is fine because I went back to this same hospital committee and informed them that I will take care of one of his patients....when and only when I get an apology. So you see Lev, this whole apology thing is very pertinent to this discussion, now isn't it and when everyone reads...the rest of the story, it makes so much more sense. I didn't make it to a team lead position by being unsafe and using poor judgment. The reason the surgeon got written up? Because he transferred a dirty patient to a clean floor(and then lied to us) endangering clean patients lives. Oh and guess what else Lev, that patient had MRSA. i did not get the thread closed phats, get it straight, not sure they called it a cooling off period because of other nurses comments, i had nothing to do with it as I had been kicked off. Yep, I bashed bush and i'd do it again. And, I love unions, just not crappy ones. Well Lev, I actually gave a libel suit some thought as I was very angry about it for a long time. But I was doing the RA fight like most of you and felt that it would just cause me more problems at the time. You see, I was diagnosed with RA, a week or two after this meeting. It was a very trying time for me. Since that time, this surgeon and I have resolved our conflict and I don't think anything like that will ever happen again. He still has not apologized though. He, like you just is not the kind to admit fault but that is ok, he has to live with that. We do have over medicated patients Lev. But, not by me. I'll leave it at that.

They posted what they meant but when they realize that it's biting them in their ass and more importantly, their character, they try to bleach the filth. These are some nasty people.
