Have any of you with PMR taken methotrexate for control of symptoms.
My Rheumatologist has had me on prednisone 15mg. now for 2 months and she wants to switch to methotrexate which is a very potent drug used in chemotherapy as well as RA- but have not found where it's been used for PMR.
The prednisone works really well to control the symptoms but I cannot seem to tolerate the taper below 15mg.
Appreciate any feedback on this medication experience.
