Arthritis Information -child on enbrel for severe jra

hello,  my 8 year old son has been on enbrel and methotrexate for severe juvenile RA.  he started on methotrexate about 8 months ago and it was not helping.  his doctor then added enbrel about 3 months ago.  he never had any problems with the methotrexate, but ever since starting the enbrel has been having huge hard lumps under the skin at the injection site after the injection.  it also turns red and feels warm.  it seems that each week, it is hurting him more and more.  is this normal?  i wouldn't worry as much if it was me or another adult, but him being only 8 years old, i'm really bothered by it.
