Dayight Savings ends tonight in the U.S.  don't forget to move your clocks back one hour I think the first day without daylight savings is the most depressing day of the year.  Hello long, cold, grey, dead winter. We 'fell' back last saturday in the uk and like magic the storm winds blew all the oak leaves off a massive oak tree in our street and as damned normal they've all ended up in my garden. My son helped me pick the worst of them up but my neighbour has a huge hedge where a lot of the leaves build up so over the next month my garden will fill up again! Every year I say to my hubby we really must build a fence between his hedge and our garden... but there's always something more important crops up and it never gets done... moan, moan, moan, moan.... ahh that's better [QUOTE=wanttobeRAfree]I'm with you Linncn...... ME Too!!  It's damn depressing!!
If for no other reason, this biannual time change taking place elsewhere is reason enough to live in Arizona!  Most of our devices made the switch on their own; we have a few 'old-school' clocks that either require manual resetting or still run on the 'old' daylight savings time.

Snow, it's nice to know someone is enjoying it.  I'm trying to think of things that I like about it too, and so far all I've come up with is that my pop stays cold when I leave it in the car.  And sometimes the snow looks pretty.  I think I came up with one more last year but I can't remember it.

It's perfect sleeping weather.  Nothing better than a cozy bed with lots of soft, warm blankets and sheets, in a cool room.  My ideal sleeping temp is around 60F, with the electric blanket set on low. True....it's much nicer to fall asleep in a cold room with warm blankets than a hot room with only a sheet.Nah....give me the tropics year round
