What is the name of the steroid shot they give you in your tush? Its like kepflex or something like that and I think starts with a "k". I had one on Friday and still dont feel much relief - someone please tell me they work... I am really going through some tough times right now
Keflex is a cephalosporin antibiotic.
Kenalog is what I was thinking. Did your doc say how long it would take to kick in?
Usually when I get a systemic shot, it takes a few days to kick in. Hopefully by tomorrow you will start to feel better.I get Kenalog in the joints and they tell you it takes up to 72 before it kicks in. For me it takes 36 hours. Not sure how that translates systemically.
