they hurt so bad. im having trouble with stairs and im walking funny. all my joints hurt but my knees/hips have been taken turns all day acting up especially badly. i have a huge exam for class tomorrow. i hurt. i cant sleep. and life just sort of sucks right now.

im calling my doctor tomorrow.Sometimes that is just the way to descibe it. I hope the doctor can help. I hope you get some relief from your doctor, life seems really hard when you feel so bad.

take care and try to rest, maybe the stress of the exams is making it worse.
Hang in there you will get thru it and pass the exam. I'm glad you're calling your doctor tomorrow.  Having exams and being in pain must be a horrible combination.  I have brain fog even on my good days and to think you're overcoming it to test and study.  That's pretty amazing.  Take care and let us know what the doctor has to say.  LindyI always feel so bad when I hear you are feeling so crappy and are away at school. I wish you had a heated throw to wrap around yourself while you study. Good luck with your call to the doctor tomorrow. Hope you are feeling better soon! well i failed the exam. I think. but not cause of my joints, i just failed.

im sorry i sound like a whiny little kid right now. my joints are just adding to all my other problems and i cant deal with it.

the doc hasnt called me back yet. ill try again tomorrow if i havnt heard from her by noon...

Sorry you had such a bad day- everything piling up on you like that. What subject was the exam in? Will it affect your grade terribly? Sure hope you start feeling better today and that the dr. calls soon.

I hope you are wrong about the exam! I always thought I did awful on exams and then would be surprised that I passed. It's probably hard for you to concentrate on school work when you are hurting so badly. Let us know what we can do to help! Hope today is a better day for you.LittleMermaid, don't waste worry over that test, it will only make you feel worse!  Things always work out, one way or another, and the test is just a grain of sand on the big beach of life!  You won't remember that test when your are 80, so try not to worry about it now.  Just take care of yourself, and do what you need to do to feel better and control your RA.  You may even think about cutting back a bit on school, take fewer classes until you have a better handle on your RA?  After all, what difference does it really make if you finish in 4 years or 5?  It won't make you any poorer for the experience, eh?

I hope you were able to reach your RD today.  If not, could you go to your PCP for help?
Please take care and hummmms to you!

I'm so sorry. I remember the feeling of looking down at an exam and thinking "What subject is this?!!!!!". Its horrible, but like others have said, its really small potatoes in the big scheme of things.
Hope you feel better soon
