Tomorrow is fireworks night and something I dont look forward too because of how it affects the animals. Our big old dog is pretty deaf so hopefully this year he will not hear too much. Our young rescue is already freaking out hearing some sporadic bangs tonight.

How do you celebrate your GF in Great Britain and OZ these days? What about Canada...dont know if you  even DO celebrate GF!
I have fond memories of GF Day when I was young and on the farm.  Used to have our Guy in an old pram and push him around before putting him on top of the bonfire.

You??

Edited to include OZ!! How could I have forgotten the cuzzies..lolol

Have you tried some rescue remedy drops for you dogs, our westie hates fireworks and thunder but she sleeps through it when we give her rescue remedy.

We celebrate GF  with a bonfire, the kids used to make a guy when they were little to burn on the top but now we just burn the fire , roasted chesnuts, hot dogs and marshmellows..with glasses of  mulled wine for the adults and hot chocolate for the kids. We dont let fireworks off in our own garden because of the fences and animals, the kids still have sparklers, even my elsdest who is 21 loves them, we still get the coloured ones here...We then go to the promenade on the Thames  for a controlled firework display, on a clear night we can see the sky of London and all the displays there going off too...We are expected to have good weather for it tomorrow night...

I wish you a wonderful Guy Fawkes
