Lets honour Shug | Arthritis Information

Hi guys, with the awful news today about our own Shug who gave us so much insight to this horrible disease, maybe in her honour as a legacy, we can try for peace on this board, no matter what our differences we owe it to each other to help each other, disagreeing is ok, but the animosity must stop.  Hoping for peace, yours in prayer Janie. Good luck with that.Thankyou Lisa, I appreciate your good wishes, Janie. I agree, here's to hoping the waters calm on this board.  Shugs struggle and passing opened my eyes about this disease.  quite honestly, it scared the crap out of me.  I can only hope to be half the person Shug has been.

Phatsi haven't been on the ra board for awhile and can someone let me know more about shug?
How long did she have RA, did she die bc of this? How old was she?
She was soo courageous and kind, its amazing how someone whom you barely know,
can touch your life so much.

hi janie!!
i haven't been on the ra board for awhile and can someone let me know more about shug?
Shug was, if nothing more, open about herself and her life. I have found some topics that relate to her final few months:

Conbination Therapy

Shug, how are you?

Cheer Up

Weekly Complaint

I just logged in a short while ago so I don't know what threads are active today and which are not; but I doubt very many of us are up for poking at each other after hearing the news about Shug. Anyone that feels up to participating in that crap after hearing of the loss of one of our most respected members isn't really worth responding to in my opinion.

That being said; even our dear Shug knew that nothing can keep this group from being....this group; for very long.
I'm so sad - I have not been here long but Shug was kind to me and gave me some good advice.  What a rotten disease.  I had no idea it could get this bad though.  So unfortunate.
