HI guys, apart from the usual hip pain etc, I get really sore throbbing bone pain all through my pelvic bones, can this be RA? I haven't been to my RD for a while and have an appt in Dec. In the meantime, I have requested to be rescheduled for spinal injections and eventual burning of the nerves as my hip and back pain is awful, my feet are going numb and can't stand for very long before the pain in S.I.joints and lumbar area becomes unbearable. Any thoughts, I do have degenerative disc disease and have had back surgery but whenever my joints ache these areas all join in!!!!?????The facet joints apparently are affected by the RA, my RD said I have lots of osteophytes there due to the RA, so I guess that could be a cause also. A synovial cyst has formed at L5/S1 and the surgeon said to remind him of that on the day? Regards Janie.
I get a lot of pain in the pelvic bone...I've always assumed it was RA since it comes and goes a lot like RA...hopefully you'll get some answers when you see your doctor in Dec.
