This is a support forum, but you just like with everything else, you have to separate the wheat from the chaff...
The vast majority of people come here to share their stories, ask questions and get info about RA.
In my opinion, it's pretty easy to see who those people are...
There is a small group of posters who aren't interested in any of that. They come here to cause trouble and they thrive off the drama. Something, somewhere is lacking in their life and they crave the attention.
In my opinion, it's pretty easy to see who those people are too..
As you can tell by my joined date and number of post I have; I am one of the oldes members here (not age wise....membership wise). This board has changed many times over during the course of my membership. It has it's ups and downs but it's home to me as far as RA forums go. Yes, there's weird crap, but as I stated on another thread recently, it's weirdly entertaining as well. We all keep coming back to see what will happen next. We're all adults here and we all have the choice to go somewhere else. Yes, I agree with you.....it might be offputting to a new comer but we were all new comers at one time or another and we're all still here.
Truth be told; there are only a select few that cause the majority of the actual conflict. You'd be best not to paint us all with the same brush.

If you can't be discerning enough to wade through the crap and find what you need and want.. then this is not the place for you. Plain and simple.
if you want to have a good site... make good contributions.

Forearmed is forewarned. And there are heaps of threads here full of wonderful info/advice re RA. Just learn what to leave alone...but dont watch me to learn those lessons.

Lev and Lisa aren't the only ones that cause trouble in here. Unfortunately there are quite a few of you and lyndee, you're one of them, as well as Joonie, Pinnie and lorster.
Don't act like you're innocent here because you are certainly not. I remember when I was here before, I was shocked at how some of you turned on me when I considered you friends. I've lurked for quite some time before rejoining and anytime there was trouble brewing all 6 of you were sitting in the captain's seat.
