Helpful products in reducing pain/symptoms? | Arthritis Information

I use a heating pad, frozen peas, epsom salt baths and wrist braces.

What non-medicinal products have you found useful in reducing RA symptoms?
I always have a library of ice packs in the freezer, along with various-size velcro holders, to hold them in place over a hand, wrist, knee, shoulder, even lower back.  In addition I have a couple of standard heating pads, one designed for neck/shoulders, and a new small one with velcro that is the perfect size to wrap around a wrist, elbow, or foot/ankle.

The whole family uses the various heat/cold therapy products for our various injuries, aches, sprains, strains.  Seems someone is always twisting or bumping something!!!
I use my heating pad everyday for my back. A heated throw blanket is great too, but I need a new one because mine isn't working that good anymore.

I have always used the ice packs that come with my Humira shippments too. I just keep them in the frig, not the freezer and they make great ice packs when you need them.

I also have an assortment of the little beanbag type things that you can heat in the microwave that are great. I have a large one that's gret for my neck and a set that are made for your hands/wrist that my son gave me one year for Christmas.
I've always found my wrist braces help tremendously when either my wrists ar sore or numb.  I'd hate to be without them. [QUOTE=Lovie]
