Me - just watching TV, resting the elbow, typing/surfing 1-handed. Kids and husband are playing video games. Friday is Nintendo/pizza night. I'm trying out my brand new Land's End dream fleece sleepwear. I totally want to hibernate!

Getting ready for bed now.. DH and I took hoagies over to son's house for dinner and to visit with him and the little one while Mommy worked.. We had some big giggles at Aidan's antics!! Then home.. checking mails and reading here..... but its been an incredibly stressful week (and not due to the occurences here )but IRL in that I am dissolving my business partnership. So.. off to bed... getting much needed rest since this week I had no evenings at home ...... good night all!! zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzWell, I brilliantly messed myself up tonight. I met my friend for lunch and had a couple of beers which made me sleepy. So, I came home and slept.......for 3 hours. That's half a nights's sleep for me. Now it's after ten, I'm wide awake. And my dogs seem to think it's a new day and they should be having another meal. Not gonna happen, but they are lookingat me like I'm depriving them.Nothing exciting or too much fun....just vegetating after a hard week. New job, new programs to get started, meetings and setting up an office. Will relax on the weekend also. DH and I were just reading and listening to music but I decided to check emails and pms before I fell asleep. Hope everyone has a restful night. Took MTX at 430, which should make me nice and drowsy and ready for sleep.
No such luck. Friday the 13.. First our tv in the study died, then DH had a flat tire and was marroooned in the pitch black of night. (he isnt handy and could no more change a tire than he could fly) then just as we were drifing off some kind of trouble happened across the street which involved cops and much consternation.. which totally woke us up..
So I'm here at 12:43 playing solitaire, surfing and REwriting my remodeling list which my contractor carefully "put away" Naturally it was the only copy.. Ya know it will turn up just as I give him another copy.
Knees hurt and I'm hungry. I haven't had anything to eat since 1 when I had a McDonald's Ceasar salad.. I'm STARVED now that I mention it..
well its lunchtime here, we have been getting our garden ready for winter, raking all the fallen leaves as we have had a bad storm and finally the trees are bare, and we managed to get the deck oiled and the garden furniture, its all safely stored away now for next summer. The kids are all over the place this weekend, our son is at a perfoming arts school and they are rehersing for Shakespeares Pericles. Our eldest daughter has gone christmas shopping and the youngest has a new boyfriend who is coming to meet my husband today, I met him a few weeks ago but DH was working away at the time. This should be fun !!! lol...8 simple rules the late John Ritter has nothing on my husband....haha
. We are just having a lazy evening watching the TV I want to see X FACTOR .I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.
