After months of looking for a good forum to discuss inflammatory arthritis I think this is one of the best.
But in all honesty it does lack something - in fact it is a tiny bit shambolic.
No advertising - no affiliation to any company - just a forum for people with arthritis run by people with arthritis.
Come and have a look, I am getting a bit bored all by myself.
I did post in introductions to ask permission but it looks like there isn't anyone to say OK judging by the spam posts. Hope I do not offend anyone.

There is another forum that I have joined that so far is a far nicer place than this.

I feel a little uncomfortable on sites paid for by drug companies. With the greatest respect to those who run it. Just a personal thing.

Most of the regulars here will never leave this place for a moderated forum for then they couldn't misbehave, argue, fight, curse, spew vomit and act generally evil. This is their home, it's nicknamed Hell.
The National Arthritis Foundation forum is also an excellent forum, I've been there for years and there's not much incident there, if there gets to be one the mods take care of it.

I am not asking anyone to leave, nothing like a bit of Hell.
I am not new at this caper - I have been running forums for years. There is plenty of space on the intertubes for everyone.
I was told when I started a forum for my leukemia a few years ago to "stop playing sophomore games". It is now the largest, most active forum on the net, for that specific disease.
Patient advocates can achieve a lot.
From little things, big things grow.
