So I mentioned a while back that my daughter was expecting her first child in April. Well this weekend we found out that my son and his wife are expecting their second child in July. Looks like it's going to be a busy year for us!
Those babies will probably be the best of friends. And how wonderful for you to be right there by your grandkids too. I wish I was closer to mine.
Will u be seeing your granddaughter during the holidays, Linncn?Yes ma'am, I sure will. We are actually supposed to be down south right now for Thanksgiving but some things came up that forced us to change our plans. But my son, the one that just got back from Iraq, will be coming up on the 3rd for a visit. So I'll still see his fam but missing out on my other son and DIL :(Sorry that both your sons won't be there, but still glad you'll be seeing your other son along with his family...I know you'll be enjoying that visit!I sure will :) But this is your great news thread, and I'm very glad to hear your family's happy news. The only thing better than a baby on the way is TWO babies on the way, right?yes, I was very suprised to hear that they were expecting...I knew that they wanted more (they'd like 3) but I just wasn't expecting it just yet...but it'll be exciting!
Congratulations on the grandbabies!!!!!!
well, when I was born I was baby number three in UNDER three years. It must have been pretty hectic for a while I'm sure, but their is definitly something to be said for having your kids close together. My older brothers (and my younger sister too) are my best friends. It wasn't always that way. We used to fight like crazy!! Their's nine years between my oldest and my youngest and although they love each other and are friends, my daughter really looks up to her big brothers, they still didn't "grow up" together. It's a good relationship, but a different kind of relationship. Thanks, Reegie!
