Hi,
I have been on prednisone for over two years now. In the last several months, I have these purple vein like lines on my inner legs, underarms (side of breast area) and stomach.
Is this a side effect of prednisone??? It looks creepy!
If I go off of prednisone, will the lines go away?

Hi-Hey, I know what you mean. It's like you could trace my veins on the side and top of my chest and lower legs. My sister saw me getting dressed awhile back and was really freaked out! Not only do I have the purple veins, but tons of bruises...small and large.
I have been on pred for a year now, and have never been able to get below 2.5 mgs. I'm really hoping these issues (and the 'pred face') will go away when I can stop taking it. Any thoughts from those who have????
