I use a spin brush too, Mel, because it fits my budget!  I also floss and use Biotene.  My dentist said as long as you clean all surfaces well, no worries.  I use the floss picks because it is easier on my poor fingers!

I use the spin also, along with Biotene and the floss picks and I still have to have my teeth cleaned every 3 months!!!!!  Can I blame it on Pred.? I blame everything else on it.  LindyI use the Crest Spin Brush. Easier to travel with than the Braun system.I have the sonicare brushes..   I got them when I was DX'd with sjogrens.... I use them.. a water pic, the brush floss pics, the Biotene rinse....... and I am still having tooth issues.... looking back my dad and his mother had major issues too..... both ended up with false teeth.  I am really trying to fight that battle with diligence. mouth issues and hygiene are important to anyone but more so with RA . Good article.
