Prayers and good thoughts needed for my grandson age 17 mos....he will be scheduled for tubes in both ears. Too many ear infections, trying to get this little guy back on track!

The weather changes are rough on this ol' RA/fibro body.....anybody else having probs?

JodeAwe...poor little fellow. My daughter had tubes put in. They fell out in a matter of months.
However, I know others who had them put in with fantastic results.

It ended up we had my daughters tonsils removed and that seemed to be the answer for her.
I have said a little prayer for your little guy. Please let us know how it goes.

The weather changes are rough...I have recently traveled from Ohio to Florida and back to Ohio...I got caught in  weather fronts coming in...and now it has turned cold and wet....I go back to Florida in 3 weeks, I am hoping for unseasonably warm weather when I go.

I got out my brace for my left hand this morning...my thumb and wrist is painful and weak. I feel like I can forecast the weather by how my joints feel. Hope you feel better soon. Stay warm.

Lisa
Hi Jode, I am sure your little fellow will be fine, my son had 5 sets of grommets from 18mths to 10 years of age.  He had terrible ear infections but the tubes always helped so best of luck.  The weather definitely plays havoc with me, there is not much we can do about that though is there?  Best of luck from Janie.I'll keep your little one in my thoughts. Keeping Jarek in my thoughts and prayers, Jode.

I hope all goes smoothly and this helps with all of those ear infections.
Thankyou so much. HE goes in Tuesday, I will help with him when they get home. Hopefully this will help him out, we are so sick of watching him be in so much pain. When daughter had tubes it reallyhelped, her sinuses were a mess. I cannot remember reallyw ell but I don't think they stayed in long, I remember our ped removing one of them caus eit was laying in her ear canal. I did keep it! lol I will have to find it.

I was going to make him a little book explaining going to the hospital and that it is different than the ER...he has been to the ER many times over these ears!

Oh geesh, yep the weather change has been rough. Wanted to go to Indiana to spend time with son and his family but that will have to wait till spring I think. Hard to make the trip these days.

Agins, thanks so much for your prayers and good thoughts, we surely need them through this. I am sure JArek will be fine but I still worry and hope this is the answer/solution to all his ear probs.

JodeWhen my son had hernia surgery in Oct, the pediatric surgery dept. had great stuff for the kids.  One of the books they sent home with us prior to the operation was Franklin Goes to the Hospital.  Nathan loved that book.
