Hi guys, my little man has been in the wars again!  He fell off of his chair at school and smacked the back of his head on the desk behind him.  Apparently his legs went very weak and then his hands and arms.  He then lost feeling in his hands and arms but it kept fluctuating.  We brought him home as he seemed ok and we didn't want to take him to the hospital if it wasn't necessary due to his dislike of them now after so many visits!  I was having a bad day and slept until 2.30pm and when I woke up, I was getting ready to go to his graduation with him but he said he couldn't feel his arms or hands, so I got a pin and made him close his eyes and tested him, he was right no feeling and I checked his neck thinking maybe he had a trapped nerve, it was sore so I realised he needed to go to hosp, so I took him to the hospital.  They rushed him thru ER and put him in a neck brace, they were quite worried and rushed him to Xray, then the numbness started to subside, thank God, the Xrays were fine, the Dr said he feels it is probably bruised nerves and muscles so to keep him home tomorrow to rest, some antiinflammatories and maybe physio if necessary.  My poor baby missed his graduation, he can't seem to win a trick.  I am going to treat him tomorrow as he got good grades for his one and only assignment even though he was ill, so I am very proud of him and his dad is too!  Thanks for listening guys, Janie. Awww...poor kid.  I hate it when my students can't catch a break.

I hope the day home has him feeling better.  Thank goodness he wasn't seriously hurt!

Janie how terrible for little Liam, I am glad the xrays showed up nothing serious. He will enjoy a treat Im sure.

Glad it was nothing serious.Thank goodness it wasn't worse! I think a treat is definitely necessary. Glad the exrays were fine. I hope he heals quickly. A special treat sounds like a wonderful idea.
