hey! It's been a long time since I've  been online. I had to go offline because of my income is consumed by medical bills. I'm sure you can relate.

Anyway, on the local news in Springfield IL channel is WCIA a new clinical study is being done. It is done by a Dr. Trapp whom I heard is a very good dr. He has a new drug which I didnt hear name of but it targets the white blood cells and inflammation. Anyone heard of this. You take a pill twice a day. A woman patient said how great it has worked for her. I am thinking of contacting them and trying the study. I have never done this but I am to the point where nothing has been working and all I have left is infusions. I see a new rd on the 21st and will run it by her to see what she thinks. I was just wondering if anyone has done a study before???
Its good to see the same peeps and some newbies here.
take care
I was just thinking about you - good to 'see' you again. I almost entered a study but backed out for several reasons.  It sounds like you get excellent treatment in a study; you just don't know if you'll be on a placebo or not.  That's something to consider. BUT it might be a drug to help you.  It can't hurt to contact them and speak with a nurse involved with the study.  Good luck!thx good to hear from you too Jas, it's been a long time. I might chicken out. I have a new rd appt on the 21st and may see what she says. [QUOTE=CinDee]thx good to hear from you too Jas, it's been a long time. I might chicken out. Big decisions!  Hopefully the new doc can help you sort through the pros and cons.LMAO!! The municipal building in Springfield is been shut down all day due to a bomb scare. Too funny. How's the weather up there. Did u get lots of snow last week? [QUOTE=CinDee]LMAO!! The municipal building in Springfield is been shut down all day due to a bomb scare. Too funny. Not a whole lot of snow, though the temps did get down below 0 (F) a couple nights.  Windshield washer solvent froze up in the car... I forgot to put the winter stuff in before the cold snap.
