well, oddly i feel like putting another poem up here, for Janie, and everyone else...

most of my poems don't have true meaning, but this one does

my friend, loves a girl, but the girl doesnt feel the same way about her and it just rips her heart out, knowing that they'll never be together the way my friend wants them to be....of course, im a boy, so i changed it up to make it (gay) lol

here it is: Love Sickness

Bed-ridden

Love sickness

Cut my heart out

I can’t stand it anymore

I’ve got love sickness

I love a man

But he doesn’t reciprocate

Doesn’t feel the same

Worse than pneumonia

Deadlier than the Black Death

Why don’t you love me?

I’ve got this love sickness

Feelings that I can’t control

It can’t be cured

It’s the worst thing in the world

This love I feel for you

It’s a double dose of hell

Physical and mental as well

Loving you is like living in hell

Boy, I’m lovesick cuz of you

Hi Star, again you surprise me and delight me at the same time, I really am enjoying reading these poems and believe you are truly talented. I hope you don't mind but these few additional words came to mind. Does your friends person of interest know that she loves her? This is probably the reason why, if she doesn't know then she doesn't 'see' her!

You don't see me

I am invisible to you

An empty heart

An aching desire

If only you knew

If only I could speak

you would know

I feel like a lovesick fool

Until these words

embrace your mind

this love can never be

Cos you don't see me.

omg, well the girl does know how my friend feels about her

but, that was a nice poem!
