My youngest son has been ignoring me. I am thinking wow he is mad at me. I wondered if he could have been sick or hiding something from me. Then I thought no he would not do that to me. So i decided he was having a hard time dealing with the fact that I have RA ect.

So for Christmas he tells me he is fine. He had his first surgery. A very large parodid tumor. Noncancerous. So he is telling me over the phone and I thought he said carodid. He said no under my jaw in my salivary gland. He is sending me a picture. LOL Of the tumor and before and after pics. He says it is pretty cool looking.

He said his thyroid has been scanned and his bloodwork checked ect., ect. He knew it was there for quite sometime and ignored it. It got large enough for his father and grandmother to see and they hysterically had it all checked out. So I guess he did not think a hysterical mother would be a good thing. I said well thanks for telling me after you found out everything was alright, I guess. I could yell at him but I am just glad he is alright. If it had been something bad he would have told me eventually.

It was very nice to talk to him. I have been worried but I did not want to push him to hard. He is a good kid. So I feel like i got my son back for Christmas. The end of a big mystery. He said he loves me very much. I always knew that. Men can be very funny about medical stuff.
