Hi April, and welcome!  Oh my goodness!  What a trip you have had!  You are an inspiration!  Despite all you have been through, you seem to have maintained a positive, forward moving attitude.  Way to go, girl!  Are your current meds doing the trick for you?  I sure hope so, and I hope it is controlling your daily pain.  Please continue to post, I am sure we can learn from your experience and we are a good place to go for information as well as a good vent!

May I suggest posting on the Rheumatoid Arthritis forum below?  That is where most of us fellow RAers are and you would be most welcome.

Take care, April, and I hope to get to know you better!

Thank you  It's ok and thank you for commenting  I'm new here and just thought I would say Hi!!     I'm 28 and have RA.     I was diagnosed with JRA at 18 months and at age 14 I had my right hip replaced in the spring and then that following winter I had both knees replaced at the same time.  During that following spring, at age 15, I had my right hip replaced and prior to having everything replaced, I was in a wheelchair for 3 years.  I just recently, in the fall of 08, I had my left ankle fused and then in the spring of 09, I had my right ankle fused.  I'm eventually going to have shoulders replaced, but as of now, we're just buying time.  I am on Celebrex, Rituxan and Arava.   Yowsers,

Well, I am going to quit complaining. Reading your story gave me shivers. Wow. I am at a loss for words. I want to say something meaningful but I'm at a loss. Wow. You have shamed me for all the times I have felt sorry for my self for my pains and disease that are trivial compared to you and yours in your short life. Wow.

====================== Find Attorney Welcome to SS folks... and being a newbie its about me..!!

Hello from Arnold., LONDON,

I have been a guest here for some time and finally joined, I hope that's alright. It's been great to be with you all. This a fantastic resource for techs in general. Even if those who visit do not fix emergency apparatus, I know there is a better understanding of how things work and of course the three Ds. DO's DONT's and DONTEVER's.

Arnold.
