Cleaning Service | Arthritis Information

So, question for my wise friends...

I am obviously trying to find a way to keep things going pretty much the way they are.  But, I acknowldge that things are different.  So, I was thinking about hiring a cleaning service to come in twice a month.  Not much, but it would help.  Basically to just scrub, mop, and vacum.  I don't have a huge house....it's a one story ranch with a finished basement.  Two bedrooms, lliving room, dining room, kitchen, 2 bathrooms.  Just perfect for Nate the Great and myself.  Obviously I would like to have someone come in more, but $$$ that probably isn't an option.  Does anybody here use a cleaning service?  If so, how much does something like this run?

Rebecca, left you a message on the other forum, YES, do it.  Lindy

I got one as I can not do it physically.  Too exhausting and I feel pretty good.  For me it is well worth the money.I was lucky as a dear friend's daughter cleans houses. She comes in twice a month, vacuums, dusts, cleans bathrooms. I never thought I'd see the day when I would hire someone to clean for me, but when it got to the point that pushing the vacuum caused me a lot of pain, and I would want to cry after carrying it up the stairs, I realized that it was foolish to keep on. She spends four hours doing the toughest work, and I pay her . It's the best thing I have done for myself since getting RA, and I can save my strength for getting groceries every week. Do it, Rebecca!
