My RD, along with other RDs in the US and Canada are conducting a study of reported outcomes of employment among RA patients.

has anyone ever participated in a study (this is actually my second and the other is on going still)

I'm pretty excited.  I like being tapped for data regarding our disease.  I think it's very important to the outcomes for all of us.

Anyone else ever been involved in studies?

Gosh, no. I think I'm pretty much not study material because I have latent TB and take a bunch of pills for Diabetes, hypertension, thyroid......

They generally want people who take as few drugs as possible, don't they?

But I must say, I applaud anyone who pariticipates in a study and thank you from the bottom of my heart.oh my, Snow!!  How scary!

I tried logging into the website last night and it took my registration but didn't work otherwise..   I'll try later again.

I am currently in the  CSP551 -RACAT study. (RA: Comparison of Active therapies in patients with active disease despite methotrexate Therapy) My last visit will be wed. Excited to find out what I was on either Enbrel or Plaquinal/Sulfazine. What ever it was it didn't help very much, so treatment will change again. UGH!  I was part of a study group who took provigil for fatigue for my MS. I filled out question sheets and was interviewed. I will say...I am not a fan of provigil.  It has been proven effective. Just not my thing.
