Ouch! This is new maybe? Maybe not? I just never noticed the wind to set it off before. Now that I know what is going on I will pay more attention.

It makes my ear hurt and I am hearing funny noises like the ocean. It is windy and cold. I thought bells palsey would totally freeze your face like stone stiff. Mine is not like that. Sort of a bunch of multi neurological symtoms. Some stiffness some numbness and ear pain oh my.

Lucky for me I see the neurologist tomorrow. Just noticed it twice today after being in the wind. I have had this before and never the made connection. My cheekbone hurts some and jaw also. If I go outside my ear feels like it has an icepik in it. A headache also. Just what I feel like everyday. How was I to know? At the moment I am mostly numb, like novacain numb.

So I always thought it was a cross between a sinus infection and a fibro attack of the face. Then I was reading it can change tear and saliva production. Interesting. Well i am sure it would be worse if I was not already taking muscle relaxers and pain pills.

I need to get some bloodwork done to make sure the new meds are not effecting my potasium or anything else. I am having a fair bit of side effects. I need more meds now just for side effects. hopefully those meds will have few side effects.

Just an FYI........Lyme disease is an often overlooked cause of Balls Palsy. Also remember that a Negative blood test for Lyme does not mean you do not have it. The test only checks for antibodys that your body makes to fight against it. It's best to go on antibiotics for several weeks before the Lyme test
