Has anyone heard about a lead/mercury poisining RA connection? I went to this alternative doc in Maryland who did what she called an ozone cleansing. I was in this large washing machine like devise with my head sticking out and the thing was heated like a sauna.It makes you sweat. She wanted me to have all my mercury filling replaced and claimed that she could tell from the residue after my treatment that I had mercury poisining. Is this completely crazy?I have heard of that. I too was told by my dentist to have all my filling replaced and I would probably feel much better...not sure abou tthe research on that but I do know that many individuals claim this to be true. Makes you think abou tit that is for sure. If I had the money I would replace all my fillings...but ohhhh...you should see all my fillings! Not so much bad teeth , I think it was more that the dentists years ago wanted money, 2 of my old dentists have lost their license....makes ya wonder huh?Yes Skinny. I have heard of the mercury connection several times. I have had severe flares after dental work. I would have my fillings replaced but it seems like everytime I go to the dentist, it sets me up for a flare and I just don't have the tolerance to do something that obviously gives me flares. I think it is the bacteria in your teeth that does it. Who knows. Maybe someday when I am better, I think it would be a good idea to get fillings replaced. Good luck.
