I recieved a letter from my sons commnander, he gave me a web site with my sons unit and company information, they post pictures of his company on this site.....guess who I found!

MY SON AN AMERICAN SOLDIER IN TRAINING!
That is nice for them to give you a link to see your son and what he is doing.I was thrilled to say the least...I miss him
I sent him 2 letters today and one yesterday. My husband bought me a tablet and I just write short letters and notes off and on through the day..then I pull a few pages and drop them in the mail. :)
I'm sure this made your day... great news..I'm sure he loving getting your letters. That's pretty cool! I'm sure you miss him lots! How cool is that!  Its great they help families stay so connected, that has to make you feel good.

"Waddoe" .... your typo made me smile, and every persons support makes me feel better. It is not easy to be away from someone that you are so close to , for the first time. I know it sounds silly, but I was just so elated to of found the picture and the News paper article all in one evening. It was like finding a golden nugget in a gravel pit of information.

Isn't modern technology great?! You must be so proud of him! To be able to keep in some sort of contact with him must ease your mind. Keep strong!

Hope your son remains safe and well.

I know about the worry a parent has as our friends son has just returned from a tour of duty.
