Hi,

I am diagnosed with RA and I'm studying to get the Personal Trainer certification with ACSM (American College of Sports Medicine) http://www.acsm.org/.

They have a news letter called Fit Society and in one of them there is a section about Exercise and Arthritis.

I think this is of interest for everyone no matter what type of artrithis you have.

The part concerining arthritris starts on page 5 and you find the news letter here:

Keep moving!!
I think better information can get me from your article. Now, most of researches have shown that exercise is an essential aspect in managing arthritis.Mainly, exercise increases flexibility and endurance. So it is good for arthritis patients lot.It reduces "inflammation" from arthritis and related conditions and reduces the risk of other chronic conditions.Watch online stretching exercise videos to get started and you can simply practice such as walking, water walking,Yoga, etc.
