http://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/161618.phpVery good article, though I would like to add that people should not run out and start taking Vitamin D. Get your blood tested first and then let your physician prescribe the vitamins for the pharmacy to issue. There are some theories such as Marshal protocol that beleive that Vitamin D is bad for RA due to it assisting the bacteria the protocol beleives is the deep seated cause of autoimmune diseases.
There are some theories such as Marshal protocol that beleive that Vitamin D is bad for RA due to it assisting the bacteria the protocol beleives is the deep seated cause of autoimmune diseases.
I'm not a huge fan of Trevor Marshall or his theory.  This explains my position...

Thank you Lynn49.  I just learned that my Vit D is extremely low (9) so this info answered many questions. What is it about the warshal protocol you dont like/agrre with?   I have done a lot of reading on the subject of AP amd MP  In my thoughts if you beleive the left over deep seeted bacteria are a CAUSE as i do then these 2 protocols have to be given a go.  my preference if MP, and since my RH thought i was overmedicated he now has me at such a low level of MTX Remicade the hurt from trsamsfering to MP should be little.  I am not a dumb moron, just someone that has suffered for 8 years on the medicine/Pain see-saw and want to spend time in trying for a cure not a placator.
