Sjorgrens is just crazy stuff | Arthritis Information

My temple was hurting last night. My cheek bone was sore also. So I went and looked in the mirror. The gland in the middle of my cheek is so swollen it goes up over my cheek bone and over my temple.

I had this a couple of years ago and my brothers thought I had an infection going into my brain. Bless thier hearts they ran me to the eroom.

Last time I think I only had it on one side and had some teeth issues going on. This time it is bylateral.

I can think back about 18 years and this same gland would swell. Not as much as it is now but it did swell back then. So now after all of this time they swell really good. LOL Not sure if they reach my brain yet but they are getting close.

Well I am taking 100 mg of the Lryica twice a day now along with the Cymbalta and vicoden. So I still hurt but I do not even want to imagine what this would feel like without the pain meds. My hands and feet and fingers and toes are not doing so well either. My Mom said everything. I guess my everything hurts the fingers and toes are the worst of my everything except for the glands in my face may be a tie in the race.

I still freak out when things swell but at least I know what it is now. So a little less scary. I wonder what that does to ones sinuses. I mean it is certainly putting pressure on my sinuses and thier has to be antibodies floating around there so probably not a good thing?

I admire all of you. When I swell I think what a woose I am because I know others swell more than I do. My foot is swollen but I wonder if it is just all from my toe or toes or my foot? Unfortionately I am getting better at the swelling thing.

My hands and fingers are getting bad. Just whineing a bit. Guess I will call the RD tomorrow and see if it can be of any help? I may go ahead and try the cyclosporine orally? Wonder if I can take it with the Enbrel?

I think cyclosporine works a little bit for Sjorgrens? I want something that may work on my glands. I always have the eye glands swollen it gets old. I am sort of used to it but I do not really like it.

oh dear, Milly.
that sounds horrible. I am so sorry you're suffering with that!!  yuck.
While I have the SS, I've not experienced anything but the puffiness that SS gives my eyes.

Hope you feel better quickly!!
I found a tolerable solution. LOL I decided to freeze myself. By the time I thaw out there may be a cure.

How did I freeze myself you may ask?

Turtle tracks ice cream of course. Very pleasant indeed!
Milly, don't you just hate those whole body flares... makes me feel like I'm falling apart one piece at a time!
