Morning All,
I have been off the board for months. Seems like even longer to me. I missed you all and thought of you. However I have been dealing with quite a few demons and other RA related stuff and just couldn't get on. I am not doing well with my present medicine regimen, more bad days than good and inflamation is not getting better.  RD seems to think Remicade is what we should try next. So we are seeking insurance approval for Remicade. Although I am scared after hearing so many comments about this drug, the alternitive is much scarier. If any one has used this drug and would like to share their experiences good or bad I wold appreciate it.
I have been struggling with depression too. I was told by RD this is an issue many people with RA face. I mean it got to the point where I wouldn't even come out of my room, I would cry for anything and for nothing at all. I was a mess. I am doing better now but still have days.
Hope everyone is well and pain free as you can be.
Thanks for letting me rant a little.
Hey there.  I am a newbie here but, I just wanted to say I am sorry you are going through all of that.   As far as Remicade,  I had that a while ago.  I didn't have any problems with it.  It just didn't work well for me.  However, I have heard it works very well for others.  The nice thing with Remicade is that it is very adjustable.  For example, I started it with every 8 weeks and then went to every 4 weeks.  (I think that is right, it was a several years ago).  I now take Rituxan and do much better with it.  It is amazing how everyone reacts differently to meds.  I really hope and pray that the Remicade will do the trick and you feel awesome.     Thanks for your input. Sorry you have to go through this stuff. Horrible disease this is. Glad you ar here though their is a lot of support and encouragement from those on the board.
Btw, love your avitar. I think it is great you could get the dogs to wear the hats. We tried antler at Christmastime on our doggie, he wouldn't have it. :)

I'm glad to see you posting again and I hope things work out for you.  My 8 year old daughter dresses them up all the time.  They wear so many dresses you wouldn't even know they were boy dogs. lol  The weird thing is, they love it.  They will prance around the house all proud like.lol  If I don't tell my daughter to take the clothes off, they would just wear them.  Silly boys.
