no diagnosis yet... (a little long) | Arthritis Information

I've been reading various posts around this website for about an hour now, and have not found anything to help me yet. This post refers to my not having a diagnosis yet. I am confused and hurting and have turned to the internet community for possible help while I wait on various doctors' waiting lists.

My story. Does it sound familiar at all?

Feb 2009: suddenly began to not sleep anymore. 1-2 hrs per week is a lot. Since then, I get an occasional week where all I do is sleep. But otherwise, I still don't.

Oct 2009: joined gym. Working out moderately 3-4 times a week. Feeling great.

Nov 2009: started feeling fatigued/run down.

Dec 2010: widespread body pain begins, primarily in neck, shoulders, and where the spine fits into the pelvis.

Jan 2010: sick of feeling like crap, saw Primary. She ran a boatload of tests. Thyroid's a little high, but I'm hypothyroid 12+ years now, and normal adjustments to Synthroid happen every year or two. Liver, kidneys, blood counts perfect, no mono, no hepatitis, no HIV. ESR=32, ANA=1:1280, centromere B positive. Doc sends me to rheumatologist with a preliminary diagnosis of lupus.

Mar 2010: rheumy not convinced it's lupus, orders more bloodwork.

Apr 2010: bloodwork comes back perfect except for ESR=38, ANA=1:1280, centromere B positive. Rheumy concludes: not lupus, not connective tissue disease, sending me to Pain Management Specialist. (I would think a doc would try to reduce the inflammation so that a patient doesn't need to see a pain management specialist in the first place.)

Today, I'm beginning to get depressed from feeling like crap all the time, and it's only getting worse/spreading as the months go by. I can't work out, can't do the things I enjoy, and I TRUDGE through work. And I'm so incredibly confused as to the cause! It feels as if I'm going to lose my mind at any time.

Thank you for reading this. ANY help is much appreciated.
Dear biojenic.

I have a serial of pains in my body also, and I am trying not to take drugs, because of the side effects, so I am seing I Certified Traditional Naturopath Nutritionist, he has given me a Liver detoxification with a special diet to start, and with my Faith in my Lord and that treatment we will see how this turns out, I am trying to go the natural way just because I really believe in that.
And also one very omportant factor is "The foods you eat" to me red meat is a killer, sugar. and caffeine, so try to watch what you eat, and see how you feel the next day, and you will see what I mean.
