Here is a wierd thing? | Arthritis Information

My face is swollen but it does not seem to be my saliva glands. They always get sort of hard when they swell and I can feel them.

I have a sore throat and looked in the mirror. I have alot of drainage going on. It feels like some glands at the top of my neck maybe swollen. My tonsils do not look to swollen so I do not know what the glands are exactly?

Anyway when I looked in my throat I could see that my cheeks were all swollen inside of my mouth.

Well I wonder where the swelling is coming from?

The only thing that I can tell that hurts really bad is my throat. I thought it was my thyroid area bothering me for a few days. It seemed like the muscles in the front of my throat hurt and deeper then that also.

So I looked in the mirror and saw all of the drainage and thought no wonder my throat has been hurting. So I guess it is just raw from drainage?

IDK? It is too much swelling for my sinues and my jaw does not hurt so I guess I am just confused as too what is swollen besides a couple of glands.

Guess I will go see a doctor tomorrow? If I can drag myself up thier. LOL It did not seem like a doctor thing until the doctors were closed.

Probably from stress and my brain exploded and it is draning everywhere? Down my throat and into my cheeks. My siblings have been playing who can act the most childish this week. I started getting grumpy and feelling drained and they all disappeared. Horray! I love them but when your sick it is hard to deal with people.

but I'm not sure where the swelling is.. your cheeks, but not your jaw?

and the drainage, I assume is coming from your nose? down the back of your throat?

Sounds like you have an infection going on somewhere... are you running a fever??

Sorry you have having all those yuckies. I hope you see the dr and they fix you right up. I also hope your stressors calm down too. That sounds about as much fun as the yuckies. I hope you have a nice stress free, relaxing day. Milly, I hope you feel better soon! I sure hope its not brain explosion My sinuses are a mess! I know that. LOL Maybe the jaw also. I tried to do a walk in at the ENT. LOL That did not work so well as I assumed. He is a busy guy. Always a hundred kids needing tubes in thier ears ect. in the office. I see him May 11th.

I had to make an appointment to see the walk in Doctor. So I see her tomorrow. My beloved GP is moving out of State. So I called around and have an appointment to see a new GP June 2nd. That does not mean I will be happy with him. We will see. Sigh! :(

My first choice my old GP is not excepting patients with chronic pain disorders because another doctor is also leaving town and they say it would be too much to handle. Oh well if I have to go out of town to find one I like I will. Anyway time will tell. Maybe the new doctor will be a nice smart guy? I hope so.

I really like the out patient doc. She is two blocks from the house. I told her I went to the ent and made an appointment for the 11th. She gave me antibiotics to last till then. Bylateral ear infection, swollen glands raw throat from drainage and sinus infection. Major headache I forgot to add.

She said she liked my blouse. I said I was going to go home and burn it so she could just have it. I told her a married couple with a skin infection walked into the waiting room and I was thinking MRSA! I told her I graduated anxiety disorder to full blown OCD.

She said just go home and take a bath and wash your clothes and you should be fine. In pinesol I asked? She said a bit of bleach but not much as not to fade my pretty shirt. LOL I was talking about me not the clothes. I will just burn the clothes. LOL

Milly, I'm glad you got to see the doc and got some antibiotics! Don't burn the blouse! A blouse that makes you feel pretty is hard to find and a couple of good, soapy soaks aught to do the trick.

I hope you're feeling better today! The blouse is safe. LOL I am pretty well sedated. Even as I was thinking those thoughts and wanted to run out of the waiting room screaming, LOL my blood pressure was only 112/80 so I did not go into a major panic attack or anything.

I thought about asking her to just give me a shot and put me to sleep or something. I am sure she would not have understood if I had asked her, so I did not really ask her. Certainly it gave me the willies!

I do get those thoughts but I do not act on them. I did get some bleach on some of my clothes cleaning up at my sisters when her and the kids had the flu. Luckily it was just old t shirts that I ware for cleaning anyway.

I do think I picked up a virus at the waiting room from a kid. Well that is I have aquired a fever. I will probably live. I have a follow up on the 11th with the ENT. If I get to feelling any worse I will check back in a few days if no improvement.

My doc has not left town just yet. Maybe I will go there. He keeps less people in the waiting room. I guess I am a bit spoiled. Change is hard. I may not go to the walk in clinic for awhile if I can avoid it. EGADS! Too many sick people.

lol, you sound like me. I catch any cold or virus that I come close to. I hope you feel well soon.
