ME IM IN NE OKLAHOMA

I reside in Chesapeake, Virginia, around the way from Virginia, Beach, Virginia, By the way of Atlanta Georgia and across the way from Ft. Wayne Indiana, down the way from Gary, Indiana.

I said all that to say...I am originally from Gary, Indiana, born and raised there then re-located to finish my Degree in Ft. Wanye, Indiana.  About 2 hours out from Gary.

While in school I met my husband and we relocated to Atlanta, GA.  Which I could not wait to move.  So, the Lord granted our wish to leave GA and Relocated us here to Virginia Beach.  We now reside in Chesapeake VA. And we Love It here.

Hi,

I am from Boston, MA.

Unfortunately, I can always tell if it may rain or snow!Houston area (SE Texas) we are in the gulf coast region. Mild winters---we do get some cold days but they dont last for long---hot humid summers. Arizona, suburb of Phoenix. I was a Wisconsinite but 15 years ago I moved to sunny AZI LIVE IN VANCOUVER B.C. CANADA.TERESASpent most of my life in Texas (Houston area)
moved to Alabama for college (Birmingham)

Now reside in Maryland--where the weather is crazy... Like near 80 on Monday, high of 50 Tuesday.

I miss the warm winters in the South and nice hot summers.  Yes, I'm weird, but I'm sitting in front of a space heater as I type this and my husband makes fun of me for being so cold natured.

San Clemente in Southern California right by the ocean.

Grew up in Philadelphia, Pa but for the last 25 years have lived in Monterey, CA. That's northern California on the coast.

A Great Laker - currently living in Michigan.

Northeast Pa... near Erie!!!! Terrible weather. Lots of lake effect snow and lots of depressing clouds

On Humira and methotrexate

We live in Florida.  Very close to the gulf.  We moved here eleven years ago and I just love the warm weather!  Actually, the humidity helps!  And when I walk out into the sunshine the warmth on my body feels wonderful.   Susan Lee Born in Syracuse, NY and lived there until I was 32.
Then moved to sunny southern Ca. After living in several different areas, I settle into the Pasadena area, Rose bowl country, and have been here for 20 yrs.

MarisaBorn in Greenville, South Carolina, grew up in the Maryland suburbs of Washington, D.C., now live in Western Maryland, in the mountains by a beautiful lake where we get lots of snow.

Interesting how the majority is up north in the cold cold weather.

Just me and Susan on the warm gulf coast. I wonder if we would be even worse if we were in a colder climate?
I was a Wisconsinite but 15 years ago I moved to sunny AZ
Hey M, what part of AZ are you from, if you don't mind my asking?  I live in the east valley.
I live in Northern Calif.  Chico- a college town.  Been here 17 years.  Loved it and wanted to stay but it is growing so fast, I don't know if I want to stay anymore.  I like all the events that happen in a college town but I don't like big cities - strip malls and traffic.  Brett and I are talking all the time about moving somewhere else someday - out in the country but not too far from good entertainment and healthy food.  We both love music and concerts and EATING.  The housing prices have gotten outrageous here too and we want a bigger place and build a small cottage on the property for my daughter.  Someday................I live in Ontario, Canada... a 15 min drive from Lake Erie

I am from Norfolk, Va and I love it here but need much warmer weather in the winter (we really don't have extreme winters here but I am always cold)...thanks to RA/OA and every other A's... I'm in Southern California, San Bernardino Mtns!

Crunchy...yes, I am now a Floridian but I came from Wisconsin and it was so cold that the doctor finally suggested I find a warmer climate.  For me, cold weather is just not bearable.   So we moved to Florida and no...it didn't take away the illness but when I step out in the warm sun I feel wonderful.  And we have never returned to Wisconsin in the winter.  My joints and muscles can hardly stand it when we have 60 degrees here so living there in below zero weather is not something I wish to repeat! Susan Lee

Thanks to all who responded. GREAT JOB!!!

I agree, pollutants have much to do with this disease I think. This may be one reason why in the summer here in Michigan I am not so bad....warm weather adn the air is so clean up here! It is just these really harsh winters and truthfully this winter was mild so I have been told.

Would be a great research study that is for sure. Lunch with friends sounds great...oh how I miss that since I have moved! It is amazing how much socialization I miss since my daughter is older and since i have moved....lol I guess all those school meetings and babysitters made a huge difference in my life!

I was born in NC. Lived in So Cal when I was diagnosed.  Now I live in KY

Now with all of our nice hot weather here in TX, guess what we have planned for this summer? A weekend of doing 3 things that was fun when I was 19 but will be torture for me now...Floating down the scenic Guadalupe River in a inner tube (did I mention the 46 degree water?), wearing a swimsuit while being surrounded by young people (did I mention my big, fat, prednisone butt?), and everyone enjoying cold beer (lets not forget no drinking while your on Methotrexate).  Yes it is a little bit redneck but it still is fun, or at least it used to be when we were young. We havent gone in years unless we had the kids and of course that changes the trip alot.  But this summer we are going with two other couples and leaving all of the kids at home. Now I know it is going to be miserable. Guess I will just have to deal. They are all so excited.

So even though we dont get alot of cold weather here in the Lone Star State, we do have some cold water in the Guadalupe, Comal and Frio rivers.  I still want enough snow to build a snow man just once though!!!!Getting snow as I type!  I'll build a snowman for you!!  If I can, tomorrow! cool!

Troy, NY. Just outside of Albany. Lived 10 years prior to this in the mountains of Grafton NY. Very beautiful, but ruggid country. Now I have the convenience of stores and the socialization of neighbors. Ups and downs to both. I miss the quiet, but not the shoveling!

       I'm in Dallas, TX
