Hello! New to facebook is Not today RA, a new site that is made for those living with or for those who know someone with RA.

Like this very informative and wonderful site, Not today RA hopes to bring awareness and support to this often misunderstood disease. Will you help get this site up on its feet and lets all continue to join and support each other! The more supports groups out there bring about new ideas, helpful suggestions and friendship. But most importantly of all, awareness in hopes for a cure!

yes i want people on facebook to understand the disease. how do we do this??? i have posted the spoon theory with not many people understanding even some laughing at it. Hello! You can go to facebook.com If do not have a facebook, you could get one by joining. After your logged in facebook, search Not today RA. The web page will pop up. You then will be able to become a fan, post messages, and really, anything you like relating to RA or autoimmune disease.

I compare Facebook to a large city and this forum to a village. I personally prefer a village, even though I am on facebook with my family. A village has friendly people and a large city has acquaintances.

Hello GG! Sorry to hear that you wont be joining us on FB. Rest a sure that on this site, that it is strickly for those who have RA or know someone who does. I do not invite everybodys sister, brothers, cousins or great cousins. I hope you understand what I mean.

I am glad that you do find comfort in support groups like this one. It is an important step in helping us deal with this disease.

Just remember that you are always welcome to join us, if you decide too.
