swollen toe | Arthritis Information

I have a very sore swollen toe, the one next to big toe. I find this offen here lately. I will notice my foot is hurting and when i take my shoe off I find a swollen toe, sometimes its more them one and sometimes they are black. My feet are bad any how, toes over lapping one another, and dead toes from drop foot. They look and feel broken. can last for a week or two. I have had many broken bones in my toes, feet and legs, and a few other places thanks to predisone. Oh well next week or tomorrow there will be something else to complain about. I wish the toes was all I had to worry about.

Oh Rusty that sounds awful. My toes swell but do not turn black. I hate foot drop. I have not had it for along time but I remeber. Strange I think how somethings come and go. Not that any of makes any scence.

My big toe is always really swollen. The joint throbs so bad. The swelling fills up the top of my foot. My left foot is larger than my right foot always has alot more swelling. The right foot has it the same places but not in as bad shape yet. It will be soon.

When the second toe swells it feels like it is going to bust. I am truely sorry your toes hurt and turn black even. That makes it hard to get to sleep.

I hope it goes away quickly. I hope you do not have anything else to complain about for awhile. I know how it goes a minute or two aafter the toe feels better it could be the shoulder or something else.
