So I went to the dentist LOL | Arthritis Information

I almost if not for complaining would have been sent home with a good bill of health. I begged for an exray.

I got my tooth pulled today. Well I have Sjorgrens and repairs do not last that long. I could have payed 650.00 for a root canal but I need a plate. I can get a plate for 350.00 so I just had the tooth pulled.

For one I do not know a dentist any where around that does root canals. So by the time I got in somewhere for that wow I would have been sick for a long time.

So I had the tooth pulled. I will still have some sinus problems. The Singulair is working great for my allergies so the sinuses will be alot better.

I am sure I have RA in my jaw. This is probably why I have no teeth in my upper jaw area left. However the abcess was under my eye to the side of my nose. So strange the only swelling in the gum area was the tooth next to it. The dentist pulled a piece of food out with the pick and thought that was it.

Wow how do you get an abcess with out a cavity. The dentist said maybe it had a crack in it? So that is why I have been flustered. A perfectly good tooth had an abcess and no swelling. Well swelling in my face maybe but not in my gums. So strange.

Tomorrow hint hint. Is my birthday so a wonderful birthday presant to get rid of that abcess.

I can not smile for pictures until I get my plate made. This was the tooth behind the eye tooth so if I smile it shows. Still I am happy to feel better.

SnowOwl I always have good pain meds.

Honestly I asked the doc if she had a mirror. I went and looked in the mirror and smiled to see how much the tooth would show. Then I got worried about the infection spreading to what few upper teeth I have left. I did have all of the teeth in the front so when I smiled you could not tell that I had no back ones on top. I still have all of my bottom teeth.

She says you have to be on abx for ten first. I said I have been on abx for twenty days. I said I guess I am not busy if you are not busy. I was the last patient of the day. So it was hard for them to say come back later.

Anyway I have heard that a root infection can spread. I wonder if this came from my last bout of abcessed teeth? Just Sjorgrens alone probably.

I thought just maybe this would be a faster way to try and get my face back? Well on a normal person this approach would be the way to get swelling out of thier face. So at least it was wishful thinking. LOL

I will let you know if I get any improvement in that area.

Do you ever lay your hopes and dreams on something that would benifit a person that does not have RA and get let down a litlle or alot later down the line?

On the other hand it does benifit me to get the teeth out of the way of my sinuses and RA swelling. So either way it was the right decision for me. Just it tweeked on my vanity string a bit. Lucky for me my vanity is slowly getting less picky as time goes by. Comfort before beauty is my new (maudo. check spelling)

Later when I am not so tired I will tell you how the RD visit went. LOL Long day!

Thanks all for everything. I need you all so much. It has been a week of not being understood by people. That really wares on me sometimes.

I mean you get used to it but not really. The more the world does not understand the more I appreciate my RA friends.

So thanks for being there for me when I need you which is always.
