Alright I got my bloodwork done Saturday. Went to the lab to pick it up and went straight to the out patient doctor. Very high white count. Low rdw, bacteria in urine.

Was reading and going up the elevator and I saw that I was very low on some stuff I had no idea what it was. Then I noticed it was an 83 year old womans labs attached to mine.

So I went back to the lab and returned that to them. I said she may need this because she tested low. LOL

The white count the , the red count and bateria well that was mine. Plus I have poison ivy.

Friday and Saturday I had chills. It was 83 in the house with the air on. I had my winter coat on and asked my Mom to turn down the air. I was sick. Took Pred for the poison ivy and it helped the fever very much.

So I am on 20 mg pred twice daily for poison ivy. I have to taper off of the cymbalta because it interacts with cipro and Levequin. So I take a Leviquin at night and an omnicef in the morning. No messing around I get two strong abx. Plus Nystatin skin cream with cortisone for my vitiligo or fungal infection what ever and the cortisone will help the poison ivy.

If you are what you eat then I am medicine and caffiene. Coffee and pills for me. I guess the pred will make me start eating.

Well I have to go rearrange my pill container and change times of day and make this float.

She said that the RA can give you a nodual in an osteo joint? Is that true? Well she is a doctor but doctors they all say different stuff. LOL Who knows?

So I have the dreaded ear thing. The tooth infection is still thier even without the tooth. Then the UTI. Add poison ivy. I am taking meds and going to bed. Lots of liquids.

Well my liver results were good. So why not add more medicine. Laughing so I do not cry. LOL You know what I mean.

My bloodpressure was high. That has not happened in two hundred years. An ear ache can do that to me sometimes. About nothing else ever does.

GOOD GRIEF WOMAN, what a load of meds and symptoms. At least the liver function tests were normal. Levaquin has some bizarre side effects but it's about the only antibio. that works for my sinus infections. Stay warm, drink plenty of fluids and cranberry juice and pamper yourself and don't babysit. You don't want to pass bacteria and germs back and forth. Keep us updated and I sure hope you feel better soon. LindyOh it is 89 degrees outside. LOL Stay warm. I could sit in a tub full of ice and stay warm. I am sweating bricks today.

LOL Before I started the pred I was freezing and sweating at the sametime. Well it was only 82 then. This house is crazy hot. When you go to the air vents it is blowing out cold air. Just something happens to conteract it? We can not cool this house off. It is little and has central air.

I would call and have it fixed eccept it is blowing cold air. I think the big freezer puts out too much heat? I do not know?

I went to my dads and his house was cooler and he does not have air conditioning? So that is my new hiding space when I get sick. LOL Shush! The recliner under the fan is my favorite spot.

So my sister said did you say anything about the parvo and the fifths disease? I said well really all I could concentrate on was getting the itching out of control.

Sorry not my day to be brave. LOL I was sure it was poison ivy. Well I had a rash start on my head on the twelvth. Got a cortisone shot and it went away.

I am bad for poison ivy. So that is my major paranoya. I already had my blood drawn Saturday so I am not playing lab rat if not neccasary for the prednisone. Last evening my arm started itching and it felt like that nagging knawing itch of poison ivy.

I got all sweaty walking around the hospital grounds. I had to go to PT and they sent me to the drug store. Then I had to go back to see the doctor at two. Just very sweaty.

No sooner than I got down stairs and off the elevator did my arm welt back up. By the time I walked out of the drug store with my pred that is when my hips and waste area were welting up.

Do you think I am going to wait and see what the rash looks like? NOT! CAPITAL NOT!

For RA I may or may not take pred again. I was on strike. I give in pretty easy for a rash. I am pretty smart. If not for parinoya I would have broken out all over and been miserable a minute an hour or hours longer. My worst fears realized for a few seconds as my pred shot and ten mg left over from last time I quit taking pred.

Much unneccasary misery avoided for the time being.

My answer to my sister "For all I know I have both?' A true paranoid senario would be I had poison ivy and grabbed my itch cream. My sister had used my itch cream on my niece.

She carefully put the ointment on QTIPS and put it on the childs rash without touching the rash and spreading germs.

Then of course my sister got a rash. Not all over her body just her neck I think. She of course went and got prednisone. That was either the same day or the day I got a cortisone shot. The 12th.

So chances are I had this body covered rash scince then and the shot covered it up. The origanal rash on the top of my head did not reappear. So I really thought I had out smarted this mess. I thought I maybe would have at least a mild rash if any, well I had hoped.

What I had on my arm well it itched like poison ivy. I did not give anytime to be looked at and dxed. Can you blame me?

The rambleings of Milly on Pred and Levequin. Levequin keeps me awake for the entire ten days or what ever I take it. I am in tears by the end of the week. I will be at the doctor begging them to knock me unconcious with a seditive of some sort. Which they never do. LOL So um add pred I will probably be awake for a month. LOL

Well I have to go put on another layer of benadryl cream and hydrocortisone cream. I am like a layered dip. Nystatin cream, benadryl cream and hydrocortisone cream. Seems to be working pretty good. Just it took along time because it is a large area to cover. That made it sound like I am fat. Not! Just a tad over weight and maybe two or three tads more than that. LOL

I should change my name to chatty pred girl. LOL
