I know a lot of you are taking vitamin D supplements?
What kind may I ask?
That is do you get it prescribed by your doctor?

Do you see improvement with your RA after being on vitamin D?
If yes how long did it take you see results?

Milly,
I took 50,000IU's prescribed by my RD when I was first diagnosed with with Vitamin D deficiency. Now I supplement in the fall and winter. During the spring and summer months I try to get at least 15 to 20 minutes of sunlight per day.
I did see an improvement once I started taking the vitamin D. My muscle pain and weakness went away. I took about a month to six weeks for all of it to clear up.
ps...I wasn't a milk drinker either ( lactose intolerant) and while I have no proof, I do think it may have had something to do with it
