Early treatment | Arthritis Information

My 2 year old daughter has been diagnosed with bilateral trigger thumb. After that she has begun with pain in every joint and slightly swollen knees. She has stiffness in the morning and after nap. She is more tired and irritable. I insisted to see a rheumatologist despite my pedriatician said that they were growing pains.

Rheumatologist gave her Naproxen. She is a little bit better. I wonder if she might be treated with a medication that prevent joint damage instead of a pain releiver that masks the symptoms and may delay a diagnosis.
Has anybody started with Metrox, or biological remedies from the very early symptoms? I heard that it's crucial the early treatment.
Thanks
Hopefully some one will answer. If not the Arthritis foundation has a very active board.Bumpingmoving it upTTT
