Numb Fingers | Arthritis Information

Hi all and good morning. A weird thing happened to me yesterday. My 2 pointer fingers started to become numb and cold to the touch. I did experience on finger doing that last winter when it got cold. I don't know what it could be. Is this a RA connection? I know its not Carpal tunnel as i have no wrist symptoms. Could it be Rauynauds? ( spelling)I can't answer about Raynauds  -- I don't have that..

but I do have numb fingers... numb to touch..with pins and needles and that is peripheral neuropathy  and according to an ultrasound of my wrist..I have no carpel tunnel issues any longer.

Call or question your doc when you see him/her.

Good luck.
I have raynaud's and my fingers will go numb, cold and a section of it will turn white.  Then when the feeling comes back, it turns a reddish purple then back to normal.
I'd mention it to your doctor the next time you see him/her.I had this in the beginning (six months) and was the precursor to RA.

I have Raynaud's as well. If it gets really bad I run my fingers under warm water. But tell your doctor as there are risks with Raynaud's.I have noticed the same thing in my right pointer finger since I started Humira. I was on Enbrel for 10 years and it stopped working for my RA.
