So, if you read my intro post from last night, you might remember I was going to the RD this AM re: another flare....or so I thought. He said after whats been going on since February and my discription of symptoms, and a physical exam he believes I have developed a Diffuse Pain Syndrome and prescribed pain killers 3x a day plus remaining on Mobic until I feel better. The idea of having yet another syndrome is frankly crushing. I was dx with RA nearly 9 years ago, then a non-specified connective tissue disorder and mild srojens (sp?) which I have managed to control and deal with. The idea of yet another syndrome to add to the list is overwhelming, especially with the idea there is no cure for this one either. I am only 34, I have 19mo old twins and work full time at a demanding job. I don't know how much more I can take kwim?
