Is anyone on here from Houston, TX and can recommend a good doctor? I have RA and still trying to find a good doc.
Thank you so much!

Hi Anastasia,
I live in Houston and was referred to a rheumatologist by my orthopedic doc.  I have only seen her once and I'm scheduled for a followup this coming Monday to go over the lab and x-ray results and get an exact diagnosis, although she is pretty sure it is RA.

The info on this doctor is as follows:

Dr. Martha Aguilar
2010 Naomi St.
Suite A
Houston, TX  77054
713) 667-8292

This office is located right off of Fannin by Reliant Center.  It's very nice and has onsite lab, x-ray, and an infusion suite so that you can have everything done right  there.  It's also one of those rare places in Houston where you can just park in their free lot and walk inside.  It's nothing like the Texas Medical Center with the traffic, garages, valet parking, etc.

Their website address is
http://www.rheumatologyassociatesofhouston.com/ I really haven't tried to see anyone else.  I'm going to give her a try and see how it goes.  She was very nice and thorough.  You can read about her on the website.

Hope this helps.

Lev, never been to Michigan. I am from Russia originally, so, I am sure I am familier with cold as much as you are! :)

hi there, I see Dr. Grace Makhlouf in Sugarland, TX. She is located @ 1429 Hwy. 6 South.  She is the greatest! Cпасибо, Lev!Hi, Anatasia
I see Dr. Francis Williams, who is an associate of Dr. Aguilar at the same clinic on Naomi.  I have been going to him for several years and he is great.  He is one of those docs who actually remembers all about you & your situation, no matter how long it's been since your last appointment.   All of the docs at this clinic are good though from what I hear.
The staff is good too--I love the lady who does the XRays--she sort of sings as she works.
They also have a room for infusions and just got a new MRI machine.
I think you would enjoy going there.  It's called Rheumatology Associates 713-667-8292.
Good luck--Sula
Hello, Sula!
Thank you for recommendation. I already tried to get an appointment with him, but they don't take my insurance. And I have Humana, which is pretty common I think. :( I found another doctor and going to see him on the 15th of July. Hope he is good...
