Walking Side on After getting Up | Arthritis Information

I have had osteoarthritis for 2 years now and when i gets bad after sitting for a while i get up and lean to the right side until i walk a bit then i straighten up.

Anybody else have this problem it gets very painful for a minute or two then when i walk the pain and stiffness goes away untill the next time i sit, bend or move in an awkward position and the pain is vary bad again.
I have a hip issue.....something to do w/scar tissue. After I sit for awhile, the left hip stiffens up and I limp until I can "walk it off". I had a cat scan guided injection a year ago. I am going to have another one this month. My ortho says I have scar tissue in my hip. I don't know what caused it, but he said it is there. I have Erosive Inflammatory Arthritis, so maybe the inflammation left some scar tissue. If I were you, I would definitely tell the doctor about this symptom. He/she may be able to treat it and give you some relief. That's a very bad pain there, if i were you, consultation will be the answer. Hi,

People with arthritis frequently experience significant joint stiffness after periods of prolonged rest.  Inflammation of the joint creates stiffness within the joint when the joint does not move.  Once the joint moves, a lubricating substance called synovial fluid, helps to improve the stiffness and minimize the pain.  There are a variety of different ways people get the joint moving......just do what works for you.
