diagnoses and foot pain | Arthritis Information

dear members - i am new and i am from new orleans.  in january of this year - i finished 8 rounds of chemo (pill and infusion) for colon cancer.  i was wondering how you all knew/know/were diagnosed with ra.  i have moderate pain in my feet - i do have plantar fascitis right now - but i have a bunion - with my big toe on my left foot turning in to my other toes - also on that foot - i have a hammer toe on the second toe.  i just turned 50 years old last week.  my feet will ache even when i'm resting with my feet up.  i have had bouts of restless leg syndrome and i have "spells" of rubbing my feet together when i'm watching tv, etc., - that eases things a little (or just takes my mind off it).  I don't have a lot of pain in the balls of my feet.  I did have this before all the cancer and chemo.  I just contributed it to standing long periods - tiredness, etc.  my grandmother had severe arthritis in her fingers and my mother has osteoarthritis in her feet and neck.  i've been tested for osteoporosis and i'm fine.  i am about 5'6" and 200 pounds - but distributed pretty fairly.  Any info would help.  thank you.  Lynnesorry to hear about your trial with chemo!   and Cancer!

some of your  presentations remind me of some issues I was having about three years ago.. and the fasciitis and the RLS was due to inflammation in my case... not saying that is what is happening for you..  but you should see someone to get proper care.

Good luck
