I am not here to advertise products, but if someone were to do so, I guess this would be the place! Anyway, I am new here, but am astounded at the lack of information or posts in the category of nutrition. Many times, the lack of proper nutrition can be the cause of degenerative disease like arthritis, and could possibly be the road back to health. My degree is in biology, and having studied what I've studied, and having seen my own aunt improve her health, her mobility, her arthritis pain, and her life in general through nutritional supplements, I ask myself why there is such a lack of interest in this area? Sure there are lots of quacks--"silver bullet" treatments designed to heal you instantly....but there are actually good, sensible supplements for overall health available that can and have helped many people with their arthritis conditions, in a safe manner without the side-effects associated with meds. We would be wise to not throw out the baby with the bath water! Anyway, I just wanted to put in my 2 cents about supplementation.

I know a good brand of glucosamine that my aunt and other friends have taken with good results.
