Bursitis | Arthritis Information

I am posting again because I am kind of a pest.

My question is has anyone felt a bit worse for a couple of days after having a cortisone shot for bursitis?

Also any reactions anyone might have had.

Yes, I have what is called a Cortisone Flare. When the Cortisone enters my body it crystallizes which causes heavy pain for 1 to 2 days then things seem to settle down and the Cortisone finally helps.I've had cortizone shots ocasionally for pain in joints - takes a little while to be effective but pretty good when it kicks in. Have been fortunate - no bad reactions. Hope you are feeling much better now.
