Just got home from the visit with the Orthopedist.
We did x-rays of the hips and the knees..
my hips look good.. nice clean socket still there and should serve me well for a long time.
He said my bursa sacs are very swollen and his touch was very painful!!! so we will do PT to help them.
but..
my right knee is a mess..... I was fearful of that.. and the x-rays show several bad spots where I am rubbing and causing myself major issues..
He recommends complete joint replacement... at my time discretion.
I will have to work out some logistics and plan well.. but I will do this before year end.

That's too bad about your knee, Babs. I hope it is a long time before you have to go for the replacement. Good luck with the PT, and I'm glad your hip sockets have life in them!
I am getting ready to have my right knee replaced also. Not looking forward to it at all but the hope of pain relief makes the surgery worth it.
