Amazing Results I am in Wonderland... | Arthritis Information

Hi Guys, thanks for the replies and site refs (Just diagnosed, unsure what path to take, 30 years of age)

I have some amazing news to share…

On Monday I went for a new strategy ( had nothing to lose as I was in a dire situation) and it's unbelievably working

I have been drinking 200mls per day (2 shots in the morning, noon and night) of home grown 100% raw and fresh barley grass juice (basically like wheatgrass juice).  It gave me a head ache at first, but it only lasted for the first day or so and now I can tolerate the taste and I feel energised after each time I drink it.

I have been taking three teaspoons of MSM powder in the morning

3 teaspoons of high strength fish oil (been taking this for 6 weeks and was having minimal effect)

I have restarted Salazopyrin tablets one in the morn and one at night just on Monday (I was on 2 morn and 2 night with no results a couple of months back)

At the gym I am moving free and in the course of a week, it seems to have flipped on its head.  I would read posts like this on sites and think that raw juice was a fad and quite frankly a bit of Bull, but I can’t believe what’s happening.  I have taken 6 months of Celebrex NSAIDS sometimes up to 2 per day and I couldn’t get through 12 hours without them, I haven’t had one since Sunday and the pain and swelling has almost disappeared.

Swelling has also come down in my left knee, fingers feel completely free and my wrists are moving like normal…My family and I are nervous that this is just a wonder week, but lets hope my next CRP test tells other wise, no NSAIDS must be good for my body anyway, and I guess the pain is a good measure of what my body is doing.

Looking forward to what might happen in 3 months of solid juice drinking.

If anyone wants the instruction on how to grow barley grass let me know.

Sounds horrorible.....I did try the Alfalfa pills and Aloe juice back in 82,  never helped me.   Be real careful on stopping your meds. and food,  Sounds like you are doing so much better, I wish you all the best and hope it works for you.  Wonderland? More like Lala Land. Hey guys, not trying to be nieve but the pain is gone and continuing on the meds to snap it in its tracks...I guess if I read it it would sound like lala land...but I need to remain positve.
Hey guys, not trying to be nieve but the pain is gone and continuing on the meds to snap it in its tracks...I guess if I read it it would sound like lala land...but I need to remain positve.
I think perhaps you are a little naive
RA has a history of waxing and waning, so it is very possible that is what is happening with you right now.

I hope you continue to feel well.

Here is some more info about the symptoms of RA:

What are the symptoms of Rheumatoid Arthritis?

Rheumatoid arthritis often begins unremarkably with flu-like symptoms, such as low-grade fever, malaise, loss of appetite, morning stiffness and fatigue. Sometimes these symptoms occur over several weeks or months prior to the development of joint swelling and pain. Patients with RA may experience a waxing and waning of symptoms at the onset of the disease making diagnosis difficult. Adding to the uncertainty regarding this illness, some patients may experience symptoms for only a short period while others have RA for years or their entire life-time. Other symptoms of RA may include:
