Well i'm not sure if this is the kind of thing you looking for, but i was resorting to wearing trousers with no zips as i found them hard to do up, until i had a brainwave, i got a friend to thread the metal ring part of a keyring through the zip pull, works wonders, easy to do up, goes over the button before its done up and noone can see it!! hope it helps
